BEIA took part in the WATERGRID Launch Event, held on September 30–October 1, 2025, in Plymouth, United Kingdom. The two-day meeting marked the official start of the WATERGRID project, bringing together European partners to collaborate on innovative water management and nature-based solutions.

Hosted at the Plymouth National Marine Aquarium and Duchy College, the event included project presentations, technical workshops, and site visits to demonstration areas. Discussions focused on project objectives, data collection strategies, digital platforms, and upcoming milestones within the consortium.

Through its participation, BEIA contributed to the exchange of expertise and planning of future activities aimed at promoting sustainable water systems and environmental resilience across Europe.
