ABGI Romania (BIT Grid Institut) took part in the 23rd edition of the Bucharest Auto Show & Accessories (SAB 2026), one of Romania’s leading automotive events, held from 6 to 11 October 2026 at ROMEXPO, Bucharest.

The show brought together automotive industry leaders, innovators, and business professionals around the latest advances in electric and hybrid vehicles, sustainable mobility, and new automotive technologies. With electric vehicles in the spotlight, the question of where and how drivers recharge came up again and again.

At the event, we presented NEVERFLAT, our European research project for smart, affordable EV charge solutions. Visitors and industry professionals showed strong interest in how accessible charge infrastructure can support the wider adoption of electric mobility in Romania.

We thank the organisers and everyone who stopped by for a conversation about the future of e-mobility.

Our active project portfolio: NEVERFLAT, NEVERFLAT EU, WATERGRID, and GORU-W.
