ABGI Romania took part in FACTORY 4.0 Conference 2026, Central and Eastern Europe’s Industry 4.0 conference, held on 7 October 2026 at NORD Events Center by Globalworth in Bucharest. Under the theme “Future of Manufacturing: Operate to Grow,” the conference gathered more than 50 speakers across panels on dual-use manufacturing, energy systems, AI and robotics, IoT and cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and workforce skills.

We attended on behalf of NEVERFLAT, and the agenda gave the project a natural fit. The Energy Systems & Industrial Resilience panel looked at how industry can secure reliable, clean power for the factories of tomorrow, and electric mobility and smart charge infrastructure form a key part of that picture.

We were especially glad to meet Mihai Mladin from the Romanian Energy Center (CRE), our partner in the NEVERFLAT project, who joined the energy panel as a speaker. CRE was also a strategic partner of the conference. Our conversation with Mihai confirmed how much value the NEVERFLAT partnership brings as Romania builds its energy and e-mobility future.

Our active project portfolio: WATERGRID, NEVERFLAT, NEVERFLAT EU, and GORU-W.
