nZEB Expo — Romania’s largest event dedicated to nearly zero-energy buildings and energy-efficient construction — took place from 11 to 14 June 2026 at ROMEXPO Bucharest, Pavilion B2, in partnership with Tech Expo (Bucharest Tech Week), powered by E.ON Energie România and Banca Transilvania, bringing together over 150 exhibitors and approximately 18,000 visitors from the construction, energy, and technology sectors.

ABGI Romania (BEIA Grid Institut) was present at the event — sharing project materials and engaging with professionals working on the frontline of Romania’s energy transition. With an audience that included energy consultants, construction specialists, EV infrastructure developers, and smart grid engineers, nZEB Expo was a natural and highly relevant stage for our work.

At the heart of our participation was NEVERFLAT — an EU-funded Horizon Europe project developing innovative, low-cost bidirectional EV charging infrastructure, leveraging machine learning, WBG semiconductors, and smart energy management to support grid stability and accelerate the mass deployment of electric mobility across Europe.
