ABGI Romania took part in EXPOAPA 2026, the 26th edition of Romania’s flagship water-sector exhibition. The Asociația Română a Apei (ARA) organised the event, which ran from 8 to 10 September 2026 at ROMEXPO, Bucharest, and gathered utilities, operators, technology providers, researchers, and public authorities from across the water and wastewater sector.

We came to EXPOAPA with a clear focus: WATERGRID. This Horizon Europe project combines Nature-Based Solutions with digital technologies to improve water management and strengthen resilience to drought. Romania’s water community lives these challenges every day, so their questions, insights, and feedback proved genuinely valuable for us.

We thank ARA for a well-run event and everyone who stopped to talk with us. The conversations we started here point toward exactly the kind of collaboration the sector needs.
