BEIA Grid Institut at GREEN ENERGY EXPO & ROMENVIROTEC 2026
BEIA Grid Institut participated in GREEN ENERGY EXPO & ROMENVIROTEC 2026, the leading regional platform dedicated to renewable energy, environmental technologies, circular economy, and sustainable urban development. The event brought together companies, public authorities, research organisations, and technology providers in a dynamic setting designed to accelerate collaboration and the large-scale deployment of green and digital solutions.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to disseminate ongoing research and innovation projects and to engage with a diverse audience of industry professionals, policymakers, and sustainability-focused stakeholders. Discussions centred on energy efficiency, smart infrastructure, environmental monitoring, and the role of advanced technologies in supporting the transition toward a greener and more resilient future.
Within this context, BEIA Grid Institut presented the progress and objectives of three key initiatives currently in development: the NEVERFLAT project, focused on sustainable and resilient mobility infrastructure; the LIBELIUM project, which leverages IoT sensor technologies for real-time environmental and energy monitoring; and the WATERGRID project — Nature Based Smart Water Grids for Integrated Water and Drought Management — which advances smart water grid concepts through nature-based solutions, digital tools, and integrated catchment management frameworks.
