BEIA GRID INSTITUT participated in the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership event series held in Bucharest from 10 to 12 February 2026. The Symposium brought together co-funded projects and European initiatives working toward sustainability, environmental protection, and innovation in water and marine systems.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage and exchange perspectives with partners across the Blue Economy ecosystem, addressing challenges related to climate resilience, water management, and nature based solutions.

Within this context, discussions were particularly relevant for the WATERGRID project – Nature Based Smart Water Grids for Integrated Water and Drought Management, which advances the Smart Water Grid concept to support climate resilient water management through integrated catchment approaches, nature based solutions, digital tools, and stakeholder driven implementation frameworks.

Participation in SBEP Week 2026 reinforced BEIA GRID INSTITUT’s engagement in European initiatives supporting sustainable water systems and long term ecosystem resilience.
