ABGI Romania will take part in EXPOAPA 2026 — the 26th edition of Romania’s flagship water-sector exhibition, organised by the Asociația Română a Apei (ARA) and held on 8–10 September 2026 at ROMEXPO, Bucharest.

EXPOAPA is the largest annual gathering of Romania’s water and wastewater community: utilities, operators, technology providers, researchers, and public authorities — making it the ideal stage for the project at the heart of our participation: WATERGRID.

WATERGRID — Nature-Based Smart Water Grids for Integrated Water and Drought Management — develops an innovative approach that combines Nature-Based Solutions with digital technologies to improve water management and strengthen resilience to drought. As Romania and Europe face mounting pressure on their water resources, WATERGRID’s vision of smart, distributed, digitally monitored water infrastructure speaks directly to the challenges EXPOAPA exists to address. We look forward to sharing this vision with the water-sector community and to the conversations it will spark.
